Meet the Team

Great conversations don't happen by accident.

Every GoodChats facilitator is selected not only for their teaching expertise, but for their warmth, curiosity, and conversational skill. They also receive extensive training in The GoodChats Method, applying principles from cognitive psychology, educational psychology, and behavioural science to transform enjoyable discussions into meaningful long-term progress.

Originally from Australia, Jess has a background in psychology and has spent nearly a decade teaching English while living and travelling abroad. Her teaching style is warm and vibrant, and she creates an environment that feels supportive and uplifting.

Jess is particularly drawn to topics such as psychology, history, culture, philosophy, and human behaviour. Over time, she became increasingly interested in applying ideas from cognitive psychology, behavioural science, and educational psychology to language learning.

When she's not teaching, she’s usually at the beach with her dog Leo, diving, lost somewhere with a camera, or enjoying chats about life over a drink with friends.

"The more I studied psychology and education, the more I became convinced that joy and learning are deeply intertwined. One of the best ways to bring joy into your life is through learning, and one of the best ways to accelerate learning is through joy."
